There is nothing cuter than a little baby dressed up in a Halloween costume. However put a little girl in a tutu and everyone will stop and look; and wonder the same question. "Where did she get that!"
An awesome friend of mine, Jenn, calls me up and says that she has a friend who was gonna have a baby a few weeks before Halloween. She said she would love to give her a cow tutu to go with the cow onesie that she has already purchased her. So it was my job to figure out how to make a cow tutu.
I had two thoughts for this; The first one was to cut spots out of fabric and glue them onto the tulle. The second one was to paint spots on. I made a few trial strips of tulle in each of the desired options. However the winner was painting. The tulle looked perfect with the paint on it. The designs stood out just enough but not too much.
Making this tutu showed me just how versatile tulle really is. I look forward to trying new concepts out and making each tutu unique.
This tutu is so cute! And the best thing is that there will be no exact duplicate ever made!
Thank you for joining me today. See yall tomorrow!
